Corkscrew is a ride that is past its prime. When it first opened it was a masterpiece of modern coaster design. Today it is a reminder of the past that should be ridden once for the historic value. The ride is rather rough and is not the most comfortable train. The one good point of this ride is its placement in the park. The two corkscrews for which the ride is named after go right over the main midway to the park. This location was so creative and unique that it actually influenced other parks to create pathways underneath corkscrews. I would suggest riding this ride once either for historic value or just to add another roller coaster to your list of rides.
