Theater on the Lake

Spring 2009 Studio with Professors Andrew Schachman & Thomas McLeish

Located on Lake Michigan at the end of West Fullerton Parkway in Chicago, IL is the Theater on the Lake containing a proscenium and black box theater as well as classroom space. The design revolves around the fourth wall (the imaginary wall between the actors and the audience). The openings in the building were designed as fourth walls between the users of the building and the sights outside.
