Crown Bus Stop
Steps I took to create a bus stop design for the City of Chicago.

This design is meant to pay homage to the many great modernist architects that have worked in Chicago. Designed to have only three supports holding up the roof creating a floating feeling to the roof and the glass that creates the shelter. This early design focused on massing that would create the final bus stop.

Signage coherent with the simplicity of the rest of the bus stop, including space for maps and print advertisements as well as electronic signage that could tell of upcoming buses or traffic problems.

The addition of materials and lighting makes the bus stop more realistic and starts to show some details such as the sloped roof.

This is a final rendering in front of Crown Hall on the IIT campus. Some of the details of the bus stop were taken from Crown including the large panes of glass.

This is the final rendering in front of MTCC on the IIT campus to show how it will interact with more modern buildings as well as its scale relative to a human being.
